FAQ:

We know you wouldn't trust just anyone to care for your furry family members. Let us put your mind at ease by answering some frequently asked questions.

1. What neighborhoods does Dog Time Denver & Houston, service?

We regularly service Parker, Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Denver, Centennial, Littleton and for now only dowtown HOUSTON area.  We are, however, willing to work outside of these areas depending on the circumstances. Call The Walking Guy!



2. What is included in the walking service?
This 30 or 60 minute service includes a walk with litter cleanup, plus feeding, watering and play-time. Because we provide personalized service, we do not walk dogs from multiple households at the same time.

 

3. What is included in the pet sitting service?
Our pet sitting service includes three visits per day.  The typical schedule includes an early morning visit, one mid-day visit with a walk, and one evening visit.  We are sympathetic to the specific needs of your pet, therefore additional visits can be added to accommodate your pet's schedule.  Our aim is to provide affordable pet care so you can relax and enjoy your time away without worry. In addition to potty breaks, walks and play/socialization time, we will feed, water and administer any necessary medications to your pets. In your absence, Dog Time Denver, will also collect any mail and newspapers, rotate lighting and take out garbage/recycling. 

 

4. Are services available for cats and other pets?
Yes, cat care is available for pet sitting only. We do not walk cats. Other pets requiring minimal care and supervision (e.g. fish, birds, reptiles, etc.) will be cared for at no additional charge.

 

5. Is DTD bonded and insured?
We are bonded and insured through Pet Sitters International (
www.petsit.com).  Proof furnished upon request.
 

6. Is dog licensing required for service?
Dog Time Denver requires all dogs to have required licensing/registration for the city in which they reside in order to receive services. We also request contact information for your pet's veterinarian in case of emergency.

 

7. Where are the dogs walked?
All dogs are taken from your house and walked through the neighborhood or to a nearby park.  Dogs will never be transported in DTD vehicles, except by request for pet taxi services or in case of emergency. 

 

8. Are dogs ever let off leash?
Dogs are never let off leash while in our care.

 

9. How are payments made?
Acceptable forms of payment are cash, credit cards, paypal, and checks. Payments can be left for pick-up on the next visit.



10. How are emergency situations handled?
If immediate medical attention is warranted, DTD, will transport your pet to the veterinarian on file.

 

11. How much notice of cancellation is needed?
A phone call prior to 8 a.m. the day of scheduled service is required.
